My journey into mindfulness began in 2015 when I attended my first 10-day Vipassana meditation course. What started as a personal challenge became a turning point...one that forever changed how I relate to myself, others, and the world around me. That experience sparked a lifelong practice of mindfulness and meditation and deepened my belief that slowing down often allows us to hear the wisdom that has been within us all along.
Today, I wear several hats that all stem from the same purpose: helping people reconnect with themselves and discover what's possible.
For the past 18 years, I've been a Spanish Language & Culture teacher, guiding students not only in learning a language but also in building confidence, resilience, curiosity, and meaningful connections with the world. In 2020, I earned my Master of Education in Mindfulness for Educators from Antioch University New England and began intentionally weaving mindfulness into my classroom. In 2022, I completed certifications in Integrative Life Coaching and Meditation & Mindfulness Teaching through the School of Positive Transformation, allowing me to expand this work beyond the classroom and support both teens and adults through coaching.
I believe coaching isn't about fixing people, because you aren't broken. It's about creating a safe, compassionate space where you can gain clarity, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward a life that feels more intentional, balanced, and alive. Whether you're navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, relationships, or simply feeling stuck, coaching can help you move forward with greater awareness, self-compassion, and confidence.
Travel has also been one of my greatest teachers. I've traveled to 28 countries and have spent time studying, teaching, and exploring throughout the Spanish-speaking world. These experiences continue to remind me that growth often begins just outside our comfort zone and that some of life's greatest lessons come from embracing new perspectives.
When I'm not teaching or coaching, you'll usually find me outdoors. I love open-water swimming (often in my "seal suit"), paddle boarding, biking, skiing, backpacking, and exploring beautiful places close to home and around the world. This past summer, I married my wonderful husband, Nick, and together we enjoy adventuring with our sweet pup, Summit. We also lovingly remember our bilingual dog, Booker, who will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Whether I'm in a classroom, sitting with a coaching client, or exploring a new corner of the world, my hope is always the same: to help others cultivate greater presence, deepen their connection with themselves, and create lives that feel grounded, meaningful, and full of possibility.
